Digital learning has emerged over the years due to its convenience and flexibility, making online learning more appealing. But why are some people still skeptical about it?

Several perceived notions about digital learning create barriers to its success. Below, we shed light on some common misconceptions about it.


1. Digital Learning is not practical.

Being with our mentors and peers physically has been the norm. But that hasn’t proved to be the case during these times. 3. You work on your own.

In digital learning, instructors are still available whenever learners need them. They encourage students to reach out to them whenever they have problems with their coursework. In fact, some organisations conduct live lessons to teach their learners. 

4. Socialisation is limited.

It’s completely false! It might feel too boring or isolating, knowing that you don’t have peers physically present with you. Worry not! You have plenty of options for interacting with digital learning.

Digital learning offers an option of a virtual classroom that allows users to experience collaboration and socialisation online. Discussion boards, forums, and group chats are also available, so the options are endless! Reaching out and having connections with your peers can lead to your coursework’s overall success.

5. You have to be good with computers.

Shifting from traditional to digital learning might be too overwhelming, especially if you are not skilled with computers.
